Session classes start and end on a particular date, and students attend their class once a week at a regularly set time. Students enroll in one or many session classes.
In this class we'll work on the fundamentals of Chinese Pole--a variety of climbs, sits, and poses, introducing more dynamic and strength based skills as students are ready. Class will end with learning how to use the pole for strengthening and conditioning. Chinese Pole is a challenging, but extremely rewarding apparatus! Students will want to wear jeans and clothes that will cover their armpits and midriff. Please bring clean, soft soled athletic shoes such as Feiyue martial arts shoes or adidas wrestling shoes.
Pre-requisites: Students must be able to complete 1 pull up without assistance. Prior aerial or acrobatic experience required. Requires permission from instructor to join if you were not enrolled in this pole class for the previous session.

still working on getting comfortable with aerial equipment. Students in
this level may not yet be able to climb the fabric or invert on the
apparatus without significant help from the instructor. 100 Level
classes are for gaining familiarity and comfort with aerial equipment,
and learning how your body works in space.

fabrics and perform foot locks either on the ground or from a climb. Students in this level have either completed level 100 at ATA, or have
had basic instruction elsewhere, and have the basic body strength
necessary for aerial arts. 150 level classes are for learning more
complex poses, learning to invert on the fabric, and learning ‘core’
principles of aerial work.

This level is for
students who are comfortable with being in the air and performing short
sequences easily. Students should need no assistance to invert in the

level classes are for learning to create choreography, learning complex
drops and sequences, and building greater strength, stamina and
flexibility.
This class will focus on strengthening all right muscles, big and small, to help you gain strength in the air. We will work with exercises both on the ground and in the air to help you build strength. All levels welcome.

Students should be able to hold a front balance without using their hands, and invert to the top bar, or from the belly of the sling without feet. Level 3 classes are for learning more complex rolls, beginning dynamic movement such as beats from hanging, and more complex sequencing, drops, and strength skills.

Students in this level have either completed level 100 at ATA, or have had basic instruction elsewhere, and have the basic body strength necessary for aerial arts. 150 level classes are for learning more complex poses, learning to invert on the fabric, and learning ‘core’ principles of aerial work.
Prerequisites: Students should have an existing practice on a vertical apparatus, can invert in the air throughout the class, windmill hip keys in the air, and strong shoulder engagement.

Students should be at an intermediate+ level on their primary apparatus and able to complete the following: must be able to kick up to a handstand against the wall, do 5 pushups with good form, must be able to invert in the air multiple times, able to complete one pull up, and can pullover to a comfortable front balance on a bar or sling.
Welcome to the challenging but rewarding world of aerial straps! This class is focused on building strength and control to begin safely working towards straps strength skills and confidence in working from long arms.
Students will work on building strength and control for various poses (planches, meathooks, skin-the-cat, etc.).

Straps Jam is a new, weekly lab for straps practitioners of all levels. This time is moderated and spotted but not taught in a class-style setting. Each week will feature conditioning prompts and space to work on skills and build creativity and sequencing.Students will be primarily self-directed, with a coach on hand to offer modifications and ensure good technique and safe shoulders.
Pre-requisites: This class is open to all current straps students of any level. Students must have at least two consecutive sessions of straps at Air Temple or equivalent experience elsewhere.

Pre-requisites: Previous experience on fabric or rope, strong shoulder engagement, able to do at least 1 pull-up, invert comfortably.
Let’s get LOW! Find connection between floor and bar with unique movement that can only be enjoyed on a trapeze rigged low to the ground. We will work both below and above the bar on small sequences designed to help personal expression with our dance partner the trapeze.
Prerequisites: none, but beginner bar experience, and comfort spinning both helpful
