Do you internally cringe whenever you’re asked to sit in a straddle? Do you wish you could touch your toes? Have you found that your (lack of) flexibility is holding back your aerial practice? Do you just feel like you’ve never learned how to stretch? If so, this workshop is for you.
We’ll start this workshop with a full-body warm-up and gentle stretch, and then dig into tips, modifications, and alternative stretches with a real focus on what’s accessible when you have more limited mobility. You’ll leave with a better sense of what you’re supposed to be feeling in the stretches that give you trouble, progressions to improve your flexibility, and ideas for modifying the stretches given in your class warmups so they actually work for you.
