Fabric Lab w/Mykelle Walton

In this workshop Mykelle will help expand our fabric vocabulary using physics! Questions that arise are, how does spin work? What do I need to know to roll up in the fabric? How does shelf technique make it easier to stay in the air? Our exploration will guide us through concepts such as momentum, gravity, angular momentum, friction, and center of mass.

This workshop will be geared towards upper-level fabric students. Students should have solid dance wraps, and familiarity with windmill/wheeldown, back balance, and front balance.
