Intro to Hoop Juggling and Manipulation

In this beginner workshop we’ll begin exploring all that three hoops have to offer, starting with a brief introduction to hoop juggling, and moving on to some favorite manipulations. We’ll also learn some fancy single-hoop flair, and cap everything off with a sequence written just for this class.

A number of appropriately sized hoops will be provided for this workshop, with availability to purchase so that you can practice at home!

For those wishing to bring their own hoops, we recommend hoops made from 5/8th” polypro tubing with an inside diameter measuring 27”.

Prerequisites: None, though any prior hoop dance or juggling experience is helpful
