Level Up: Vertical Technique
In this mini-session, geared towards fabric and rope students in levels 200 - 350, we’ll work on building a strong foundation for more advanced aerial skills and getting the most out of our existing fundamentals by solidifying them, and exploring ways to work smarter, and more efficiently in the air. Upper level students who want to shore up their foundations are also welcome!
Class will focus on drills and skills for maximum ease in skills like hip keys, inversions and climbing, while introducing new techniques like c-shaping, using momentum, and building strength for straight arm work as students are ready.
Pre-requisites: To get the most out of class students should be able to execute a cross back straddle, scissor/windmill hip keys in the air, invert in the air, and have familiarity with knee hook climbs even if they have trouble stacking them. Pre-requisites skills do *not* need to be clean to participate in this class, but they should be generally consistent.
