Choreography Lab

In this all apparatus limited series we’ll dive deep into exercises and games designed to help you excavate material and movement that’s both unique, and authentic to you as an artist. We’ll work with a single sequence as our scaffolding throughout the course of the series, evolving it from a list of tricks into something new and possibly unrecognizable, and maybe even meaningful!

Students should be comfortable repeatedly performing longer sequences in the air and working on their apparatus at height. Please come with a note taking device, a phone (for recording video) and a sequence or series of skills in mind that you would like to spend a lot of time with.
